(upbeat music) - PBS Utah and CacheArts are holding a special screening event, celebrating season five of "All Creatures Great and Small".
And our Director of Community Engagement, Laura Durham, is here to tell us all about the event in Logan.
Hi, Laura.
- Hi.
- Tell us all about "All Creatures Great and Small.
Everybody loves this.
- Oh, it is probably the most popular Masterpiece drama right now.
And it's family friendly, it's warm, it's cozy.
It started in 2020 when we all needed that, and we were at home.
And it's in its fifth season, so we're excited to screen the first episode.
It doesn't air until January 12th.
And so the people who attend at the Utah Theatre in Logan get a sneak peek.
- A sneak peek, and people love their sneak peeks.
And so kind of recap season four.
- Well, you have James and Tristan who are off at war, and you had Helen back at home who was pregnant and ready to have her first baby.
And so season five starts out with, that baby is born, but you also have a new vet, Carmody, that's filling in for James and Tristan, and so he's at the clinic with Siegfried.
And the show is about all these characters, but it's also about these wonderful animal characters.
And Tricki Woo is a favorite.
Tricki Woo is the Pekinese that everyone absolutely loves.
But, in this first episode, I don't want any spoilers, but there is a really fun storyline with the cat.
- With the cat.
- Yeah.
- Because yeah, I mean, what's enough to love about this series?
- It's great, and what's really fun about these events is that it's a TV show, but when you come to a movie theater with a bunch of other Masterpiece and drama fans, and you get to watch it in the Utah Theatre.
If our viewers haven't been there, it is gorgeous.
It's worth just going up to Logan and spending the night and going to this beautiful theater.
It's got a gorgeous lobby, the chandelier, and it's an old theater and it's wonderful.
And we're so grateful that CacheArts is helping us with this.
- It's wonderful you're doing it.
And thank you so much for being here.
Thanks.
- Thank you.
- And if you'd like to know more about that upcoming screening event, fifth season of "All Creatures Great and Small", a sneak peek of the first episode, January 9th at 7:00 at the beautiful Utah Theatre in Logan.
