Spanish soccer head refuses to step down for forcibly kissing player after World Cup win

The glow of Spain’s first Women’s World Cup championship has been dimmed by a cloud of controversy. The criticism has erupted around Luis Rubiales, the president of Spain’s soccer federation. During the on-field celebration, Rubiales grabbed midfielder Jennifer Hermoso and kissed her on the lips. Hermoso said at no time did she consent. John Yang discussed more with Christine Brennan of USA Today.
